Where to eat?
The gastronomy of Cáceres includes recipes bequeathed by the Romans, the Arabs and the Jews that are mixed with the recipes of the traditional Spanish cuisine, creating an authentic cuisine of fusion of cultures; to which is added the influence of the Portuguese cuisine and the conventual cuisine.
Cáceres allows you to discover the most traditional Extremadura gastronomy and the most innovative proposals in its restaurants, thanks to the know-how of our chefs.
Spread throughout the city we can find sidewalk cafes and restaurants, there are also a good number of taperías and gourmet spaces that allow us to enjoy the best gastronomy in small formats, heightening the Spanish culture of the tapa, and based on the Denominations of Origin and on a product variety and quality that make Extremadura cuisine the pantry of Spain.
Cáceres, gastronomic capital and rich in raw ingredients, also opens up a wide range of courses from all over the world: a nod to the best international dishes typical of each country. In essence, there is food from all over the world that suits all tastes.
